OK. I would just like to start off by saying this was probably the best EVER SFM show. To start things off, Ryan Air (finally) got Chris a flight back from Afghanistan, which was the first good thing. Second, we had our first Eclectic Hour, produced by Chris, which is basically where we play any genre of music from Reggae, to Drum and Bass, to our favourite, Punk Rock. Had a laugh singing along to "A Bit Patchy" by Switch. Or as we were singing, "Ant and Dec." Faithful listeners know what we mean. And to top off the whole thing, we had I Blame Mike's Nick and Dave in the studio performing some of their latest tunes from their upcoming EP. Great performances through out the night by those two. Had a phone in from George and the "Pury Parade" or whatever they are called requesting a song, we didn't have it so we improvised...meaning me and Dave (rather crappily) sung the chorus to Sean Paul with "We be Burnin." As expected the complaints came flooding in. Had a phone call from devoted listener Gemma who asked IBM some questions and then a song, which we then failed to play, then failed to play the one we promised to play instead...failed to play that also. So in the end we played "Time of Your Life" by Green Day. Overall an absolutely awesome show!!
Unfortunately two large parts of the recording are missing, including the performances from I Blame Mike.
